You might know that you can embed your SIMMER games into other websites (like a personal website, or wordpress site). You simply use the embed button below your game and copy the HTML code into your website.

Starting today, 10/24/2020, we may show preroll ads before on games that you embed on other sites in order to be fiscally responsible and keep the site sustainable.

This only affects games uploaded after 10/24/2020. Games that you've already embedded won't get ads. The ads themselves will be rolling out by the end of the year, most likely.

How to avoid the ads!

If you're interested, you can upgrade to a SIMMERconnect account, and you'll never see ads on your embedded games as long as your account is active. I hope you find the price "indie friendly"--a year costs about the same price as a single console game.

Theres a whole bunch of other perks to a SIMMERconnect account like custom loading screens, the ability to add your game to a custom domain. You'll also get a copy of our Unity WebGL video course included. Finally, you get the satisfaction of knowing that you helped keep the site free for other indies!

Why ads?

I've been paying for SIMMER out of pocket since 2017. Since then 30,000+ games have been shared! Our costs are rising, and I want to keep the site running (and free!) for a long-long time.
