SIMMER.io is a site for 3D content and games to be played directly in the web browser. The tagline is: "Discover, Share, Play Anywhere".

The site opened up for developer uploads in September of 2017. It has gone through a few iterations: at first it was a prototype called "WebGLTube", then simmerindustries.com, and now it's called SIMMER.io.

This site is the simplest way to share games created with Unity on the web.

Anita Liang - CEO, Mad Scientist

Anita mostly keeps Rocco (the founder) sane. She helps with developer outreach and marketing during the evenings. She's a Scientist for the USDA during the day, keeping our food supply safe.

Alejandro Zamora - Community Manager

Alejandro is our Community Manager and all around rockstar for SIMMER.io! He started off as a contributor to the site building his own Unity games like Frijole Mole, a game that teaches how to use Spanish accents ~~~.... Later he contributed to (and won) an art contest on the site. He wants to found his own video game studio specializing in educational games in the future.

Alejandro lives near Fresno, CA.

Tiffany Wong - Community Development

After playing the original first version of Plants Vs. Zombies,  Tiffany found her passion and will like to learn more about writing, coding, and other aspects of web and game development and break into the game industry. She hopes that one day, she will win in a Simmer Game Jam.

Baby Rocco - Head Squeaveler

A bad boy to his core, baby Rocco insists on helping out with SIMMER's code any way he can. Usually it involves banging on his father's $3000 Mac keyboard until it nearly breaks. In his spare time he enjoys climbing onto coffee tables, playing with miniature soccer balls, and eating cat food.

Rocco Balsamo - Founder, Advisor

Rocco has moved on to other projects but still pitches in occasionally to keep the project running.

In a previous life, Rocco was a full time game developer working on titles such as Rock Band 3, The Sims, and Death Jr. And hey, let's not forget his debut title, "Care Bears, Let's Have a Ball"! He saw a huge opportunity for game developers to share their work in the browser with no "App Store" friction, so he founded (and developed!) this site from scratch.
