All this might be a dream
"All this might be a dream" is a exhibition of 32 artists from Georgia made for newly founded online art platform "home alone".

The spring of 2020 began with a pandemic.
Everyday routine is gone.
Both in the East and West.
Locked in homes, whether in quarantine or in self-isolation, we count the days anxiously or quietly. How much is left?
Incredible, like a Hollywood movie: closed borders, cancelled reality.
We are waiting for news staring at the screens. We expect that the alarm clock will ring, and we will hear the announcement on the news that it’s a collective bad dream, a spring nightmare and we are about to wake up.
The emptiness of the dream now stands in the streets of many countries.
An emptiness that brings huge space and time to self-reflect.
To think about feelings, locked boundaries, delayed trips and affairs, loneliness, fear, others, expectations, mistakes, once-missed calls. A thousand things, as many as these deserted streets can handle.
What happens when we wake up?
What will happen then?
Will we remember what we saw in a dream?
Until the bad dream comes to an end, we get used to the new reality of the pandemic.
After the canceled exhibitions, performances, concerts, institutions switch to the digital world. Closed museums open on the Internet.
This is a new reality, perhaps temporary but inevitable.
This exhibition is one second between dreaming and awakening until you have woken up but are no longer sleeping.
This exhibition is about a new reality, a new actual state.
It’s about days spent by screens, loneliness, dreams, expectations, strange feelings.
This exhibition is about emptiness rooted in the streets. About nothing.
We decided to host a first test exhibition within two days, four or five days ago. The place where the works are exhibited also exists in reality. This place is Bolgarski Palace, in the village of Garikula. Contemporary art festival “Fest i Nova Garikula” named after Zdanevich Brothers is held in this place every year. Artist Karaman Kutateladze is organiser of the festival.
The name of this place ‘’Garikuli’’ (Eng: outcast), today has become the name of the people locked up in self-isolation.
Works exhibited here in this virtual show also exist in artists' workshops, collections, folders.
If you've played video games at least once, you'll easily look through the exhibition. If not, it will take you a few minutes to learn walking, looking around and running. If you find the game difficult, we will post a photo and video documentation of the exhibition on our page.
