Develop your skills at linear regression, using a scatter plot with a best fitting line to make predictions. To assist you, an arrow is drawn straight up from the given value (on the x-axis, at the bottom) to the best fitting line, and then from the best fitting line to the predicted value (on the y-axis, to the left). Select the scatter plot with the best fitting line that predicts a value of 280 for a given value of 80.

A PLM helps people with rapidly extracting information, internalizing frequently occurring patterns, and automaticity (e.g., when you drive home, without really needing to think how you are driving the car). PLMs are not about memorizing facts. Explicit rules can be given, but are not necessary. Learning occurs as a result of a rapid cycle of testing and feedback.
