Omar Gilani is a multidisciplinary artist and illustrator. His practice is an exploration of the themes of culture and identity, particularly in a South Asian context. He utilizes traditional fine arts techniques in conjunction with the latest new media tools, such as virtual reality, augmented reality, animation, and projection mapping, in order to create novel and immersive interactions between the audience and the work.
